Summer Service Opportunities!

If you have spare time, get out and serve this summer. Here are some ideas, and you can find other opportunities at CSB and Key Club websites. When you go to any off-campus location, take your service hours form with you to be signed by a coordinator there to register your hours and turn into the US office in August.

Lower School Volunteers are needed all summer to help the teachers prepare for school, especially in later July and August. Contact Mia Russo!

Volunteer Match is a great database of service opportunities: http://www.volunteermatch.org/?l=Raleigh%2C+NC# You can search for a specific type of charity and contact the coordinators directly.

Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina - Students 12 to 17 years of age are welcome to volunteer with a parent/guardian (could be one parent for a few kids) during normal volunteer hours. 18 years of age and older do not need a chaperone. Shift times are Tuesday - Saturday 9am-12pm, 1-4pm and Wednesday evening 6-8pm. Arrive with your permission slip 5 minutes before the shift begins. See these FAQs.
